The Association of Holistic Feline Specialists (AHFS) is a non profit organization which seeks to educate the general public as well as other pet professionals in the most current science based research and education in regards to feline health and handling. We recognize that all aspects of health (emotional, physical, mental, and developmental) are interconnected and should be addressed with equal attention and respect. Our organization is compromised not just of cat enthusiasts, but feline-centric professionals.
The Association of Holistic Feline Specialists (AHFS) was established in 2023 after realizing the need for mainstream and comprehensible cat-centric information for pet professionals and cat owners.
Our mission is to change the narrative on feline health, hygiene, and handling so that everyone may be more successful in cat ownership and interaction. Our motto is “Know better, be better.”
The AHFS consists of feline specialists and other pet professionals who are dedicated to continuing education, science based research, hands on experience, and whole-cat health. To be associated with the AHFS is to have proved credibility in holistic feline health, hygiene, and handling as well as pledge to uphold our pillars.
Our principles of ethics include: accountability, transparency, communication, care, and respect.
